About us
Health Reference exists to aid socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals & families living within the DFW metroplex with access to vital healthcare resources. We host a quick-to-navigate database of publicly accessible resources that can be navigated by anyone via an internet connection.
Co-founded by four friends, Zack Miles, Evan Catton, Dawid Kala, and Kyle Simon. The Health Reference project exists to serve as a publicly accessible collection of clinics offering a broad array of medical & allied health services. We have collected information on necessary documentation that is needed for the provided clinics, along with direct links and contact information for the listed services.
The initial collection of resources was aggregated individually by contacting more than 50 local social services, hospitals, and social worker centers. Over a period of 4 months, we managed to collect an initial offering of 20 local resources. This information is, unfortunately, often difficult to access for disadvantaged populations. We hope that this website will serve as an easily accessible collection of North Texas clinics & healthcare centers.
